Fiber Arts

Sewing, knitting, and crocheting has been a tradition among all the women in my family. Who would have guessed that when my mother taught me to sew as a young girl that this would inform the how I approach and see the world as an adult.

I love learning a new skill, the empowerment of creation, the tangibility of having a garment come together from a two-dimensional piece of fiber.
